...and the winner is...... Kelly Ann. Hooray! Well done you. My lovely assistant drew the name out of the bunch. Snow White always scared me...along with Pinocchio. I'm much more a Aladdin or Little Mermaid kinda girl and Singing in the Rain is definitely way up there in my top 5 movies of all time.Thank you to everyone who entered. I promise I'll have another giveaway soon.
Here's a sneaky peak of something new that I plan on adding to my shop soon. I'm now off to watch Masterchef the Professionals....Happy Monday x
"Bowled Over" Pen and Ink with watercolourI finished this drawing of Boyle Park bowling green, Forfar, last night but I'm not too happy with it. I think I spoiled it a bit with the watercolour. Hubby said I can't be wonderful all the time...oh yes I can! As said by my dear mama it is now officially the end of summer as the Last Night of the Proms was last night so I was having a good sing-a-long whilst painting my picture!
Grace watching Tarzan.....This morning whilst fiddling about with the computer Grace chilled out in her favourite TV spot! She's going through a lovely phase of calling everyone and everything "Baby" and is driving us all mad!
Forfor Loch, Acrylic on canvas panel framed in black stained frame with a gold slip.
The Little Causeway, Forfar, Pen and Ink with watercolour. Framed with single deep mount and oak stained frame.Thought I would add a couple of paintings I did recently of Forfar, Scotland for a local exhibition in Kirriemuir, Scotland. I didn't sell either of them unfortunately so they both are going to be on my Etsy page www.lornasmithstudio.etsy.com very soon. I don't have pictures of them with their frames yet so I have to wait for my Mother-in-Law to take them for me as the paintings are still up in Forfar! I'm also doing some paintings of Loch Lomond at the moment for the gallery I work in scotlandart.com. I don't have any work there yet so very excited about getting some work shown there.
